This website will serve as a portfolio of my work in painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography.
I became interested in the arts at an early age and was urged to attend Cass Tech High School in Detroit, where I was fortunate to experience roughly 4-5 hours a day of various art principles. I further attended Wayne State University, receiving a BFA, majoring in Drawing and painting, and minoring in art history.
During that same time, I also attended the Detroit Institute of Arts, under the direction of several instructors including Bernardo Fernandez and Sergio DeGusti.
I have also attended post grad classes at Kendall School of Art and Design in Painting, portraiture, Drawing, and have on occassion, led life drawing classes (figure Drawing).
I maintain a Studio and Gallery at my home in Michigan, and a studio in the Underground gallery in Ft. Pierce Fla. I am a member of the Vero Beach Art Museum and have displayed there as well.
Please take your time and enjoy my work.
Thanks,
Michael
